About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and maintain security solutions that safeguard enterprise systems, networks, and data. In this role, you will work closely with IT, cloud, and business teams to identify vulnerabilities, implement safeguards, and respond to security threats. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a proactive, problem-solving mindset to protect organizational assets in an evolving threat landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage security tools and technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR, DLP, IAM, etc.).
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis, recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor networks and systems for security breaches and anomalies, responding to incidents in real-time.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices across the organization.
  • Implement secure configurations for operating systems, applications, cloud platforms, and databases.
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to embed security into the SDLC (DevSecOps).
  • Support compliance initiatives (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2).
  • Research and evaluate emerging threats, tools, and technologies to strengthen security posture.
  • Prepare reports and provide insights to stakeholders on risks, vulnerabilities, and incident responses.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–6 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in enterprise or cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, identity & access management (IAM), and endpoint protection.
  • Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong understanding of threat modeling, incident response, and forensics.
  • Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and analysis.

Preferred Skills

  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, Security+, or GIAC.
  • Hands-on experience with zero trust architecture and container security (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Exposure to machine learning or AI-driven security tools.
  • Experience in highly regulated industries (finance, healthcare, government).
