About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Team Lead – IT to manage and guide a team of IT professionals in supporting enterprise systems, infrastructure, and technology initiatives. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with strong leadership and mentoring capabilities to ensure smooth IT operations and successful delivery of projects. The ideal candidate is both a problem solver and a people leader who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Oversee daily IT operations, including network, systems, applications, and end-user support.
- Coordinate and prioritize IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues, providing hands-on support when needed.
- Manage IT infrastructure (servers, storage, cloud services, virtualization, and security tools).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT strategy with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with security policies, data protection regulations, and industry standards.
- Oversee vendor management and procurement of hardware, software, and services.
- Track and report on IT performance metrics, resource utilization, and project progress.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of IT experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong technical background in infrastructure, networking, cloud services, and IT security.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience with IT service management frameworks (ITIL preferred).
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure, or AWS.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2).
- Project management experience (PMP or Agile/Scrum certifications are a plus).
- Experience in vendor management and IT budget oversight.
