About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Email Specialist to join our marketing technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, testing, and deploying engaging and personalized email campaigns that drive customer engagement and business growth. This role requires strong technical skills in SFMC combined with a passion for marketing, design, and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy email campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio).
  • Build responsive, mobile-friendly HTML/CSS email templates following best practices.
  • Manage subscriber lists, data extensions, and segmentation to ensure accurate targeting.
  • Set up and optimize automated journeys, triggered sends, and dynamic content.
  • Conduct A/B testing and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and analytics teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
  • Maintain email compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other relevant regulations.
  • Troubleshoot deliverability, rendering, or technical issues within SFMC.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve email performance and customer engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in email marketing, preferably within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and AMPscript for email development.
  • Strong understanding of data extensions, segmentation, and personalization in SFMC.
  • Familiarity with Marketing Automation tools, deliverability best practices, and CRM integration.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong analytical mindset and experience with reporting/metrics.

Preferred Skills

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification (preferred).
  • Experience with SQL queries in SFMC.
  • Knowledge of Journey Builder, Mobile Studio, and Cloud Pages.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and integration into SFMC.
